Noriel Roubini: Bitcoin este o schema Ponzi
Intr-o serie de postari pe twitter, Noriel Roubini desfiinteaza Bitcoin afirmand ca nu este moneda, unitate de cont sau mijloc de plata, ci doar o jalnica modalitate de a stoca valoare si, prin urmare, o proasta investitie.
Pe cat de jalnica, tot atat de periculoasa intrucat Noriel Roubini, economist american si profesor universitar supranumit si profetul crizei financiare, compara economia bitcoin cu o schema piramidala Ponzi, potrivit Wall Street Journal.
De asemenea, el mentioneaza faptul ca tranzactiile nu sunt sigure, mai ales ca pot fi afectate de atacurile informatice/hackeri. In plus, Roubini crede ca toti cei care accepta tranzactii in bitcoin, pentru a se feri de marea volatilitate a monedei virtuale, ii schimba apoi in valuta traditionala, indiferent daca vornim de euro, dolari americani sau yeni. Motiv pentru care considera ca bitcoin nu este un mijloc de plata.
