Through its partnership with Visa, BCR is launching an Olympic-themed collection of Visa cards, available in a limited edition, to mark the timing of the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. As a worldwide sponsor of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Visa is the exclusive payment technology partner and the only card accepted at the Olympic and Paralympic Games through 2032[1], and BCR is the only bank in Romania to issue cards with the Visa|Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 marks.
As part of the promotional campaign “The cards that make you feel like at the Olympic Games”, the cardholders of Visa BCR cards who spend a minimum of 3.000 lei until September 5 are included in the campaign automatically and enter a lucky draw for one of the following prizes: 5 vouchers worth 1.000 euro each, which can be used only for purchasing sports items, 50 smartwatches and 60 electric scooters.
The campaign addresses the cardholders of debit and credit cards issued by BCR under the Visa logo, and the new design dedicated to the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 will be found on both newly issued and renewed or replaced cards during this period.
The customers who do not hold an eligible product in the campaign can choose to take a BCR Visa card with the design dedicated to the Olympics in limited edition, in one of the BCR branches or accessing the online onboarding flows.
