Collaboration brings cross-border payments and FX capabilities from Currencycloud, a Visa Direct offering, directly into the treasury workflows used by corporate finance teams across Europe.
Finqware today announced a collaboration with Visa, a world leader in digital payments, designed to help mid-sized and large businesses manage global money movement more efficiently within the treasury workflows they already use every day.
Corporate finance teams often rely on multiple banking platforms, payment systems and FX providers to manage liquidity, payments and international money movement. Through this collaboration, Finqware will launch FX Hub, integrating cross-border payments and FX capabilities provided by Currencycloud, a Visa Direct offering, directly into FinqTreasury, enabling European corporates to manage these activities within a more connected treasury environment.
By leveraging FinqTreasury FX Hub-powered Currencycloud capabilities, businesses will be able to collect, hold, convert and send funds domestically and across borders from within the same platform used to oversee treasury operations. This enables finance teams to manage liquidity, payments and foreign exchange through a single workflow, helping reduce operational complexity and reliance on fragmented banking portals and payment systems.
Within FinqTreasury, corporate finance teams can manage multi-bank liquidity, execute domestic and cross-border payments, and access competitive FX capabilities while benefiting from greater visibility and control over how money moves across their organisation.
“Businesses increasingly need faster, more integrated ways to manage liquidity and move money around the world,” said Zeynep Sayin, Head of Visa Direct Partnerships. „Through this partnership, Finqware is integrating Currencycloud directly within the treasury workflows corporate finance teams already use every day. Together, we are helping businesses simplify international money movement, reduce operational friction and gain greater control over global cash management”.
The collaboration reflects a shared focus on helping businesses simplify treasury operations by bringing account information, payment initiation, FX and cross-border payment capabilities together within a single treasury environment. By embedding Currencycloud, Finqware extends its treasury capabilities beyond domestic multi-bank operations into global money movement. Finance teams can access cross-border payments and FX capabilities alongside existing treasury processes, helping streamline day-to-day operations and improve efficiency.
“This partnership extends the capabilities available through FinqTreasury and helps simplify how businesses manage cross-border payments and FX” said Cosmin Cosma, Co-Founder and CEO of Finqware. “By combining Visa’s global payment capabilities with Finqware’s treasury management platform, we are helping businesses access international payments and FX capabilities within existing workflows. Together, we are making it easier for CFOs and Treasurers to manage liquidity across multiple banks and move money internationally from the same environment — with speed, low complexity and control.”
