Alior Bank begins enrolment for the next edition of its acceleration programme “RBL_STAR. The winners can expect a cash prize of EUR 10,000 and permanent cooperation with the bank or its partners.

8 septembrie 2022

This time, the programme aims to identify start-ups with the most interesting solutions in the area of human-mobile interactions. The collection of applications will last until 30 September 2022.

“RBL_START” is Alior Bank’s acceleration programme, which has been operating in the fintech and start-up sectors for 5 years now – the brand is dedicated to scouting innovative projects and mentoring young businesses. This year, the programme focuses on companies that will propose the most interesting solutions in the area of human-mobile interactions.

This year, we are inviting start-ups to submit their ideas for increasing the bank’s interaction with the customer. These challenges are consciously broad. We look forward to submissions that will open up new, including experimental areas of activity for us. Selected companies will participate in a 10-week acceleration programme, during which their representatives, assisted by the mentors, will establish a plan to bring their product to market. We expect start-ups to have solutions at a minimum MVP level.” – says Paweł Franczyk, Managing Director of the Digital Channels Division at Alior Bank.

This year, the candidates are required to present their ideas in regard to six challenges:

. developing new methods of reaching customers,

. improving the experience of the users of our mobile,

. increasing the engagement of individual customers,

. analysing increased amounts of data regarding customers and their behaviours,

. inclusivity and accessibility – a bank that excludes no one.

Applications are open to companies from all over the world with a working product or service. The programme will run for 10 weeks, during which the selected entities will prepare a professional business plan with the help of the mentors. Once the programme is over, Alior Bank intends to determine two winners. The main prize for the finalist is EUR 10,000.

The programme also provides an opportunity to establish a continuous cooperation with Alior Bank or its partners, for example PZU, Mastercard, Microsoft or Wrocław University of Economics and Business, as well as business verification in the form of a PoC, mentoring for young businesses, including support in UX/UI design and testing, implementation of qualitative and quantitative research projects with input from end users and financial support through the RBL_VC fund.

The registration of candidates will continue until 30 September. For further details, please visit the programme’s dedicated website
