UnionPay to offer QR code payments across Canada, in partnership with a leading local provider

Motion Pay Technology Inc. (Motion Pay), the leading cross-border mobile payment solution provider in Canada, announces that it has reached a partnership with UnionPay International, and that it’s launching the rollout of UnionPay QR code payments across Canada.

Motion Pay is Canada’s leading payment processing partner for AliPay, WeChat Pay and Union Pay. To pay with UnionPay QR code payment service, customers can add their UnionPay cards into the mobile application of „UnionPay” and press „Pay & Receive” to either scan the merchant’s standalone QR code signage or let the cashier scan the QR code that automatically generated from the app to complete the payment. UnionPay International will also launch several rounds of promotional campaigns in 2019. The app users will enjoy various discounts when shopping via UnionPay APP.

In order to deliver unified Chinese Payment solutions to Canadian Petroleum and Convenience Retailers, Motion Pay and Bulloch Technologies have formed a business partnership to enable Chinese payments across Bulloch’s extensive Canadian network.
