SpaceX has gained worldwide attention for a series of historic milestones:

. only private company capable of returning a spacecraft from low-Earth orbit

. in 2012, its Dragon spacecraft became the first commercial spacecraft to deliver cargo to and from the International Space Station

. in 2020, SpaceX became the first private company to take humans to the International Space Station

. its Falcon 9 is the world’s first and only orbital class reusable rocket, driving down the cost of space access

Based on these experiences, SpaceX is for example developing Starship, a next generation of fully reusable launch vehicles, capable of carrying humans to Mars and other destinations in the solar system.
