Revolut, the global financial app with over 40 million customers, announced it has expanded its Mobile Wallets feature to include 14 new payment corridors across nine African countries using three digital wallets. Revolut plans to add more wallet routes in the coming months.
After enabling customers in the UK and most European countries (EEA) to send money to Bangladesh (bKash) and Kenya (M-Pesa), now Revolut boosts its portfolio with payment corridors between Europe and Africa (Airtel, Orange Money, MTN).
Customers can send money to African countries: with Orange Money to Botswana, Guinea-Bissau, Côte D’Ivoire, Madagascar and Sierra Leone, with Airtel Money to Congo, Gabon, Madagascar, Malawi and Zambia and with MTN to Guinea-Bissau, Côte D’Ivoire, Congo as well as Zambia.
