The European Payments Council (EPC) launches today an eight-week public consultation on a new draft document on the Standardisation of Quick-Response (QR)-codes for mobile initiated SEPA (instant) credit transfers (MSCTs).
This document standardises a payee and a payer-presented QR-code for all types of MSCTs, i.e. all payment contexts: person-to-person (P2P), consumer-to-business (C2B), business-to-business (B2B) and business to consumer (B2C) while addressing both SEPA Instant Credit Transfer (SCT Inst) and SCT payments.
All interested stakeholders are invited to participate in the public consultation by sending their feedback using the dedicated questionnaire (see “related document”) via e-mail to mp.consultation@epc-cep.eu by 14 April 2022.
