Cel mai recent raport al INS despre caracterizarea gradului de dezvoltare a societătii informationale în România vine cu doi indicatori cu evolutii contradictorii, ambii legati de comertul electronic.
Astfel, urmărind comparativ anii 2015 si 2016, datele INS ne releva ca a scazut ponderea intreprinderilor cu website propriu, in total intreprinderi active, de la 46,2% la 45,4%. Cu toate acestea, a crescut ponderea comertului electronic realizat via internet in total cifra de afaceri a intreprinderilor cu activitate economica, de la 7,4% la 8,4%.
Cu alte cuvinte, mai putini dar mai buni. Chiar si asa, comertul electronic ramane in continuare un canal neexploatat de antreprenorii romani, din diverse motive – nepricere si neincredere fiind printre acestea – si probabil ca asa va ramane in continuare in lipsa unui program national de educare, promovare si sprijin antreprenorial in acest sens.
