The Polish bank is looking for startups with technology that is at the implementation stage or already in operation.
„We are looking for outstanding non-banking solutions that will help us build an ecosystem of unique added value services for our Alior Mobile app users. Business goals of the cooperation is to increase the number of active users of Alior Mobile app.”, the Alior Bank said.
RBL_START is a Warsaw based acceleration program with the aim to select, accelerate, and implement the best ideas in a real business environment. RBL_START is a 10 week program focused on on creating a business case with Alior Bank. During the program start-ups have the chance to refine the cooperation model with the Bank which will be then validated with customers.
„Once your project is selected it will have a chance for PoC or production implementation. Throughout the whole program your project will have the support of IT, UX researchers and designers, FinTech Partners and Business Mentors. Our connections to a community of corporate and VC partners, the startup ecosystem and media will help elevate your circle of contacts.”, according to the Polish bank.
Shortlisted applicants will be assigned a business mentor from within the bank’s mobile app development team. Depending on their needs, they may also rely on the support of a number of business partners, including IBM, Microsoft and Mastercard.
Regarding the financing part, the bank’s commitment is very clear: „We do not take any equity for participating in RBL_START. However, we are interested in investing in your startup if you manage to build a solid business case together with Alior Bank.”
