Open banking for financial inclusion – Salt Edge joins SME Finance Forum global network

Salt Edge, a company that develops open banking solutions, becomes a member of the SME Finance Forum, according to a press release. It was established by the G20 Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion (GPFI) in 2012 and unites financial institutions, banks, and fintechs from across the globe encouraging SMEs through knowledge exchange, policy change, and impactful partnerships.

Matthew Gamser, CEO of the SME Finance Forum said: „40% of small and medium businesses worldwide struggle to get access to the credit and capital that they need to grow their enterprises. We are delighted to welcome Salt Edge to our network of more than 190 members who are working to eliminate the finance gap for SMEs.”

Salt Edge helps businesses connect with end-customers’ bank accounts globally. Offering open banking services and access to real-time data, Salt Edge empowers small and medium-sized enterprises to build smart services for their customers. The company is ISO 27001 certified and AISP licensed under PSD2.
