New partnership towards the creation of a pan-European open banking infrastructure

SIA announced a partnership with finleap connect for new open banking services in Europe. The two companies will integrate their respective PSD2-compliant solutions for international banks, financial institutions and fintechs, driving the development of new digital payment applications.

finleap connect, the open banking platform of the main European fintech ecosystem finleap, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with SIA, a leading European hi-tech company in payment services and infrastructures controlled by CDP Equity, to offer new open banking services to European banks, financial institutions and fintechs.
 
„The agreement will allow finleap connect and SIA to integrate their respective PSD2-compliant solutions, enabling the international adoption of innovative use cases based on Accounting Information Services (AIS) and Payment Initiation Services (PIS) and thus giving impetus the development of new applications for digital payments on various channels,” according to the press release.

In detail, the Accounting Information Services allow financial institutions, fintechs and companies to access the customer’s bank account, providing an overview of the user’s financial situation and facilitating the creation of use cases aimed at enriching the value proposition.
