Mastercard Lighthouse presents the participating companies of the Fall Program 2024. This fall, the partnership program will focus on 20 fintechs from Sweden, Finland and the Baltics.

Mastercard Lighthouse unveils its fall 2024 class for its partnership programs FINITIV and MASSIV. 

Lighthouse FINITIV

The Mastercard Lighthouse FINITIV program has launched its 13th round with 15 fintech and fintech-enabler startups. This fall, the partnership program will focus on Sweden, Finland and the Baltics, with an aim to stimulate and contribute to the already active and growing startup scene is these countries.

Focus areas in the upcoming program include identity verification, B2B payments, personal finance solutions, open banking, and digital receipts to name a few.

Meet the Mastercard Lighthouse FINITIV Fall Class of 2024:

Sweden

Betalo is a licensed payment institute that enables B2B and B2C invoice payments with credit cards to optimize cash flow and loyalty programs.

Ledyer offers smooth and efficient B2B payments, simplifying the checkout process by letting customers complete purchases with just an email address and company name.

Scayl helps fintech lenders to finance loan origination while providing banks with down-side protected SME and consumer credit exposure through a simple API solution.

Tab Technology connects merchants, consumers and banks through Smart Receipts by seamlessly integrating with POS systems, bringing Smart Receipts to market at massive scale.

Visualizy is a modern and multi-bank platform that helps companies reduce costs and mistakes and enhance security in their financial operations by working as a layer between companies and their banks to consolidate payments.

Finland

Candour Face ID is an online identity verification company based on AI-powered facial biometric recognition serving banks, e-commerce companies and other online services.

EAS Project opens the world for e-commerce by seamlessly simplifying the complexities of cross-border VAT compliance and IOSS registration.

Enable Banking offers seamless Open Banking connectivity through APIs, enabling companies to integrate real-time data and payment processes directly into existing systems.

Selfly Store provides smart vending machine solutions to merchants and consumers for easy and convenient grab-and-go shopping.

Silcube is a SaaS platform to manage a credit portfolio to help private debt funds and their administrative agents save costs by operating digitally.

Baltics

Bilance is a personal finance app in the Baltics that helps people save money and make better financial decisions with AI-powered insights.

LiTech provides an easy-to-use, automated and secure data observability platform to ensure data quality, improve analytics and facilitate decision making.

myTU is building the first fully automated digital bank that enables users to open IBAN accounts and facilitates quick and secure cross-European payments.

Softloans develops embedded revenue-based lending solutions to help other platforms grow by extending credit to their B2B customers.

Taktikal is a B2B SaaS provider that specializes in helping fintechs, regtechs and insuretechs design, orchestrate and automate workflows through a no-code platform with dynamic document generation and a simple API.

During the 2024 fall program, participants will be able to present their solutions and discuss possible collaboration areas with Mastercard, Resurs, Swedbank, SEB, and OP Financial Group in a 1 on 1 setting during a series of events and workshops.

Participants will also be introduced to relevant investors from the Mastercard Lighthouse’s Investor Circle, made up of 140+ investors covering Europe, the UK and North America, and will meet growth advisors such as AWS, Fintech Mundi and Invenio Growth.

Additionally, the program facilitates meetings with various Mastercard stakeholders, including Marketing and Communication teams for guidance.

Lighthouse MASSIV

Mastercard Lighthouse MASSIV is a startup program that helps social impact and sustainability-focused companies scale through partnerships. Since its founding in 2019, Mastercard Lighthouse has supported nearly 50 impact-driven tech startups in advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals through collaboration and strategic partnerships.

MASSIV’s 2024 fall class welcomes two companies focusing on sustainability and three focusing on social impact globally, all founded in the Nordics & Baltics from Finland, Estonia and Sweden.

Meet the fall class of Mastercard Lighthouse MASSIV:  

AfriPay is a one-stop-shop cross-border payment platform dedicated to transforming the educational landscape by offering seamless financial solutions that empower African students aspiring to study abroad.

Omocom is a scaleup from Sweden that provides insurance solutions for circular economy platforms such as Peer-to-peer rental platforms, as well as purchase and transportation of second hand and refurbished goods.

PrvyX, a startup based out of Stockholm, Sweden, is a data collaboration platform that enables industries such as telecom and banks to collaborate to combat fraud and cybercrime while preserving privacy.

RiverRecycle is founded in Finland and offers a comprehensive and innovative solution to the plastic waste crisis by building an ecosystem that addresses plastic collection, recycling, and product creation.

Zero Labs is a climate tech software startup providing pioneering Digital Renewable Energy as a Service platform, revolutionizing how companies can approach sustainability, and radically accelerating the global adoption of clean energy.

The five companies joining the program were chosen for their commitment and capacity to scale sustainable partnerships.

As part of the Mastercard Lighthouse MASSIV program, startups receive feedback and support from UNDP, Swedbank, Danske Bank, Synch and individual advisory board members from investment firms like VNTRS, First Fellow Partners and SKARP. These board members represent sustainability experts, investors, and executives, each with their own global network.
