‘Guaranteed Payment’ offers a digital alternative to traditional deferred payment methods, such as checks.
Garanti BBVA is launching a new digital solution to provide security for forward-dated payments and boost trust in commercial transactions. „The innovative new feature allows clients to manage future payments easily, backed by the bank’s guarantee.” – according to the press release.
‘Guaranteed Payment’ strengthens commercial relationships by providing both the creditor and debtors greater transparency and predictability.
„This new solution allows clients to easily set up future payments on Garanti BBVA’s digital channels – without setting foot in a bank branch. The system automatically executes the transaction on the pre-defined date even if the account has insufficient funds, thus ensuring the payments are made on time.” – the bank said.
„Creditors can trackall transfers online, and have the option to transfer the receivable to another user, or use the discount option to collect the payment before the due date. Debtors are able to schedule payments securely, knowing that the transaction is backed by Garanti BBVA. The payment can only be canceled with the creditor’s approval.” – the bank explained.
Garanti BBVA Deputy General Manager Cemal Onaran stressed that the bank aims to develop features that simplify business processes for its clients, adding that the new solution secures forward payments, “one of the cornerstones of trust.”
