Finqware, the Open Banking infrastructure provider powering financial automation across Europe, announces the appointment of Alexandra Dinu as Product Manager for FinqTreasury, the company’s flagship product, a next-generation treasury management platform.
Alexandra joins Finqware with more than 15 years of experience across banking, treasury operations, cash management, and financial digitalization, bringing a rare combination of corporate treasury expertise and hands-on banking experience.
Most recently, she served as Senior Regional Treasurer at NEPI Rockcastle, one of CEE’s largest real estate investors and an early adopter of FinqTreasury. In this role, she managed complex treasury operations across multiple jurisdictions, banking relationships, payment infrastructures, and treasury transformation initiatives. Her career also includes more than a decade at BCR (Erste Bank), where she held several roles across cash management, electronic banking, corporate banking support, and client operations.
At Finqware, Alexandra will be responsible for shaping FinqTreasury’s roadmap and helping the company further align its product strategy with the evolving needs of treasury teams, CFOs, and finance departments at leading enterprise companies from Europe.
From FinqTreasury user to FinqTreasury builder
Alexandra’s relationship with FinqTreasury started years before joining Finqware. In 2021, while part of the NEPI Rockcastle treasury team, she was among the first corporate users to test Finqware’s API-based cash management solution. At the time, she publicly encouraged treasurers to “believe in open banking”, describing how FinqTreasury helped simplify a fragmented multibank environment and turn hours of manual account checking into a consolidated overview available in minutes.
Having experienced firsthand the challenges of managing liquidity, payments and banking relationships across multiple entities and countries, she brings direct insight into the operational realities treasury teams face every day.
„Alexandra represents exactly the type of expertise we want to bring closer to product development: people who have lived the challenges our customers face and understand what truly creates value for treasury teams. Over the years, she has been actively involved in treasury transformation projects, Open Banking adoption, ERP integrations, and payment automation initiatives. Her experience will help us continue building FinqTreasury as a platform designed by treasury professionals, for treasury professionals,” said Elena Cosma, Chief Product Officer of Finqware.
Throughout her career, Alexandra has played an active role in implementing digital financial tools designed to improve cash visibility, automate treasury processes, and streamline financial reporting.
„Having worked both in banking and corporate treasury, I’ve seen how much time finance teams still spend navigating fragmented banking environments and manual processes. What attracted me to Finqware was the opportunity to help build the tools I wished existed earlier in my career. Treasury teams need technology that simplifies complexity, improves visibility, and allows them to focus on strategic decisions rather than operational friction. I’m excited to contribute to the next stage of FinqTreasury’s evolution,” said Alexandra Dinu, Product Manager at Finqware.
Building the next generation of treasury infrastructure
Alexandra Dinu’s appointment comes as companies across Europe accelerate investments in treasury modernization, financial automation, and real-time financial visibility. With growing demand for multibank connectivity, automated reconciliation, cash forecasting, and API-driven financial operations, Finqware continues to expand both its technology platform and its team of treasury, banking, and Open Banking specialists.
By bringing experienced treasury practitioners directly into product leadership roles, Finqware aims to ensure that FinqTreasury remains closely aligned with the operational realities of modern finance teams and continues to evolve as a treasury platform built around real-world corporate needs.
