Romanian businesses, citizens, and public institutions can now use Evrotrust’s platform for secure digital services like identity verification, e-signatures, and cross-border transactions. The Authority for the Digitalization of Romania (ADR) registration confirms Evrotrust’s compliance with Romanian and EU regulations, ensuring its services are secure, legally binding, and recognized across Europe.
Evrotrust, a leading and qualified provider of digital trust services with over 1,4 million international users, was officially registered as an electronic identity service provider by the Authority for the Digitalization of Romania (ADR). „Evrotrust entered in the list of third-party remote verification of a person’s identity using video means, kept by the Authority, allowing the company to provide e-Identification services in Romania.” – according to the press release.
The registration granted by ADR means that Evrotrust’s services meet the highest requirements set forth by the European Union’s eIDAS (Electronic Identification, Authentication, and Trust Services) regulation, which governs secure electronic transactions across Europe. It also guarantees that Evrotrust’s electronic identification services are legally recognized under Romanian law, providing businesses and individuals with the assurance that the electronic transactions they carry out with the remotely identified persons are enforceable and secure. This protects users from fraud, unauthorized access, and potential data breaches, ensuring the integrity and authenticity of digital transactions.
“I am thrilled to announce that our e-Identification solution has received ADR certification, marking a key achievement in our commitment to delivering top-tier digital identity services. This certification not only confirms the strength and security of our technology but also affirms our compliance with the highest industry standards”, says Valentina Dragomir, Country Manager Romania, Evrotrust.
