Amazon Brazil and Nubank announce partnership „to integrate payments and facilitate access to credit”

6 noiembrie 2025

Amazon Brazil and Nubank today announce a partnership that will revolutionize the online shopping experience for over 100 million clients. Through the integration of NuPay into the Amazon.com.br store, clients will be able to gain access to special payment conditions, including an additional credit limit and more installment options. The initiative unites two of the country’s most innovative brands to meet a fundamental demand of the Brazilian market and a decisive factor in democratizing Brazilians’ access to online shopping: flexibility in payment methods.

Amazon and Nubank clients can enable NuPay for a shopping experience with just a few steps, fully digital, frictionless, without a physical card, and without needing to enter data, all with the same level of security and reliability that characterize both brands. Clients will have the option to pay with NuPay directly at checkout without having to leave the Amazon.com.br or Amazon Shopping page.

Eligible Nubank clients may also have access to an extra limit for their purchases, now with the possibility of installments in up to 24 times with interest. The new feature is being gradually rolled out and will be made available to all clients over the next few weeks, starting with the interest-bearing installment option and the opportunity for an additional limit, and later for interest-free credit and debit functions.

At Amazon, our priority is to offer customers more freedom and flexibility in their purchases. The long-term partnership we are building with Nubank and the integration of NuPay into Amazon.com.br, along with the additional credit limits, represent significant progress in this direction. We are always looking to remove barriers in the purchase journey, and this new payment option allows our customers to acquire what they need in a more convenient way that suits their financial needs,” says Leandro Santos, Director of Payments at Amazon Brazil.

To take advantage of this new feature, Nubank clients must access the Amazon Shopping app or the Amazon.com.br website, select the desired products, and at checkout, choose the “NuPay” payment option. The process will guide the customer to securely authorize the linking of NuPay with Amazon, and through a unique code sent by Nubank, the process is completed without the need for interaction with the Nubank app. Once the link is established, the customer can access the additional limit and installment options in future purchases in a simplified manner and use them without the need for new authorization. NuPay will be available at the Amazon checkout for all eligible clients with an additional limit available for purchase.

Amazon and Nubank are companies recognized for their obsession with clients, and the integration of NuPay as a payment method demonstrates the commitment of both companies to deliver an increasingly complete experience for their millions of customers, now with even more payment ease and exclusive benefits,” affirms Fausto Ibarra, VP of Digital Ecosystem at Nubank.

With Brazil as one of the priorities in its global investments, Amazon has expanded its national operation with over 100 new logistics centers, accelerating delivery times throughout the country. Now, the partnership with Nubank further expands this growth strategy, facilitating customer access to over 180 million products across more than 50 categories available on Amazon.com.br.
