ING Bank Śląski is the „first bank in Poland to offer the full functionality of BLIK mobile transfers to a wide range of business customers” – according to the press release.
„From now on, users of the ING Business mobile app can both send and receive transfers to their phone number. Funds are transferred to the recipient’s account immediately, similar to Express Elixir transfers. This is another step in the development of modern payments for businesses.” – the company said.
„Last fall, ING became the first bank in Poland to enable business customers to send BLIK transfers to their phones. Now, the bank is expanding its service to include the ability to accept such payments, offering companies an even more convenient way to settle their accounts. We’re bringing solutions that work and perform well in individual customer settlements to the world of large companies.” – says Izabela Całusińska, director of Tribe Business Daily Banking at ING Bank Śląski.
„BLIK mobile transfers are available to customers who have the ING Business mobile app. This makes sending and receiving funds quick and easy, without the need to provide a bank account number.” – the company explained.
„We’re consistently developing ING Business so entrepreneurs can handle more and more matters directly through the mobile app. This new feature makes managing your company’s finances easier and more accessible, regardless of time and location.” – emphasizes Joanna Zybała, director of Tribe Payments at ING Bank Śląski.
The maximum amount of a single BLIK phone transfer is PLN 1,000, and the daily limit for one user is PLN 5,000.
Receiving BLIK transfers to your phone is free. A fee is charged for outgoing transfers, as per the Table of Fees and Commissions. The fee is the same as for a standard domestic transfer and depends on the client’s package.
The extension of the BLIK phone transfer functionality is part of ING Bank Śląski’s efforts to develop simple and modern payment services for companies that facilitate everyday business operations and accelerate settlements between entrepreneurs.
„For years, BLIK phone transfers were primarily associated with quick settlements between individual users. Now, the same mechanism can be used more broadly in the business world. The ability for institutional users to register a phone number means that businesses can now not only send transfers but also receive them directly to their own number. ING Bank Śląski is the first to offer this feature to a wide group of business customers. Thanks to the National Bank of Poland’s approval, a similar solution will be available at other banks.” – says Marcin Waldowski, Director of the Product Development Department at Polish Payment Standard, the BLIK operator.
