The Supervisory Board of Polski Standard Płatności SA has appointed Piotr Puchalski as President of the Management Board of the company. He will assume this position with effect from January 11, 2027. „The new CEO has over 20 years of experience in the financial and payments sector, gained at companies such as BNP Paribas, mBank, and the Supervisory Board of Polski Standard Płatności (BLIK). His responsibilities so far include the development of mobile payments and e-commerce, as well as building customer portfolios, revenue, and high NPS scores.” – according to the press release.

In the coming years, the organization will simultaneously develop additional services, strengthen collaboration with banks and partners, and expand BLIK’s presence in the European payments market.” – the company says.

Piotr Puchalski is a manager with over 20 years of experience in the financial and payments sectors. He currently serves as Managing Director of the Retail and Business Banking Division at BNP Paribas, where he is responsible for business growth and building customer satisfaction and loyalty. Previously, he worked at mBank for 16 years and served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Polish Payment Standard (BLIK). His career has included growth initiatives in retail banking, the development of payment and e-commerce innovations, and building a high NPS, gaining experience in both the Polish and international markets. He is a graduate of the University of Lodz and the Advanced Management Program at IESE Business School in Barcelona.

Piotr Puchalski will replace Dariusz Mazurkiewicz, who has led the company since June 2017. Monika Król, Vice President of the Management Board, Katarzyna Matuszczyk, Management Board Member and CFO, and Grzegorz Laudy, Management Board Member and CTO, also remain on the Management Board.
