Revolut has made its RevTag payment pass available in both Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, allowing users to receive payments by displaying a QR code.

Back in March 2026, I was the first to report that Revolut had quietly started rolling out a RevTag pass in Apple Wallet — initially in Japan and Mexico, then spotted in Hungary, the UK, Germany and beyond. At the time it was pure stealth mode.
Now, a Revolut employee has confirmed that after the Apple Wallet launch, the Revolut username (@revtag) is now available in both Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Users can simply open their phone’s Wallet and show a QR code straight from the lock screen to get paid.
This is not Apple Pay or Google Pay for spending. It is a receive-only digital pass designed to make P2P and informal payments effortless. Instead of opening the Revolut app and hunting for your details, you just pull up the pass and let the other person scan or copy what they need.
In some markets, the pass also displays local bank details (CLABE in Mexico, for example). In others it shows only the RevTag and QR code. Either way, it works for fellow Revolut users and for anyone who can send a regular bank transfer.
Perfect for splitting a dinner bill, getting paid for freelance work, or even “playing shop”. No more fumbling.
How to add it: open the Revolut app → tap your profile → select your RevTag → “Add to Apple Wallet” or “Add to Google Wallet”.
I called this a potential game-changer four months ago; now I see it only as a handy feature.
