Banking 4.0 Summer School – meet the AI lecturers

A recent global study by Temenos shows that 75% of banks are actively exploring Generative AI (Gen AI), with 36% already deploying or in the process of implementing it. Furthermore, 73% believe agentic AI will be transformative for the banking sector. 

In response to these developments, Banking 4.0 Summer School places a strong focus on artificial intelligence, inviting three distinguished international lecturers to address topics ranging from the EU AI Act to practical case studies and hands-on approaches to leveraging Gen AI. 


Mădălina Manoiu 

Mădălina is a visiting professor of AI and Machine Learning at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland. She brings over 17 years of corporate experience across four continents, with the past decade focused on the telecommunications and technology sectors. 

She holds an Executive MBA from IMD, certifications in Generative AI from MIT and Stanford, and Board Governance training from the University of St. Gallen. Currently, she leads her own AI consultancy, helping organizations navigate change, implement responsible AI governance, and prepare for an AI-driven future. Her work bridges cutting-edge technology with human-centered strategy. 

Niek ten Hove 

As Senior Data & AI Strategist at Accenture, Niek supports executives in unlocking sustainable business value through Data and AI. He specializes in guiding complex transformations, where digital capabilities serve as drivers of long-term strategic impact. 

With over 14 years of consulting experience, his expertise includes data and AI strategy, innovation, digital change, and executive facilitation. Niek holds an Executive MBA from IMD Business School, a Certificate in Management from London Business School, and a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Twente. 

Enrico Bagli 

Enrico, who holds a PhD in Physics, is the Data Science and Innovation Manager at CRIF. With more than a decade of experience in data-driven innovation, he leads projects that intersect data science and finance, with a focus on amplifying the impact of digital transformation. 

His goal is to help his company and its clients successfully navigate the AI revolution, with a commitment to exploring the frontiers of technology in financial services. 

About the Banking 4.0 Summer School 

The Banking 4.0 Summer School is a high-impact program designed for experienced professionals seeking to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving financial landscape.
