Omnicredit has been selected in the final of fintech competition from NOCASH Gala

Omnicredit is the latest innovative start-up selected by NOCASH in the final fintech competition that will take place on May 9th, at the National Theatre in Bucharest – Sala Media.

The company specializes in financing solutions for micro and small businesses and will have the official commercial launch next month.

Referring to market opportunities, Elisa Rusu, CEO of Omnicredit, has just mentioned a few key figures of the market: „94% of the active companies in Romania are micro-enterprises and 70% of them are not eligible for a bank loan. More, micro- enterprises (firms with a turnover of <1 million €) collect their receivables almost three times slower than large companies (with turnover> 1 million €) during 2017.”

„We are the only player on the Romanian market who offers 8 types of products by scoring companies in real time: single invoice recourse factoring, single invoice non-recourse factoring, discounting promissory notes, microloans for working capital, investment microloans, cash-advance microloans, credit lines for micro companies and micro leasing. One minute to register, one hour for credit decision, 8 hours money in the account.” she added.

Everything is ONLINE with no bureaucracy but with larger support: virtual assistant, chat-bot, call center assisting the client to chose the most suitable solution, according to the company’s representative.

15 Romanian start-ups, most of them with mature products and commercial fintech solutions, will compete for „the most promising fintech start-up of the year”. The prize allows the winner to receive a full package of services valued at € 3,500 (transport, accommodation, tickets, exhibition space) to attend the ICT Spring Europe 2019 event, a very important global tech conference to be held in Luxembourg on May 21-22.
