25% of European payment service providers have registered in Instant Credit Transfer Scheme

23 februarie 2018

More than 1,000 payment service providers (PSPs) from 13 countries have to date registered in the Instant Credit Transfer (SCT Inst) scheme. This represents twenty-five percent of European PSPs. European Payments Council have just created an animated map showing the number countries and PSPs participating in SCT Inst:

PSPs in Europe

”When mousing over each active country, the number of participating PSPs located in a given country appears. This animated map, available on the EPC homepage and SCT Inst page, will be updated every month to reflect the progress made by the scheme, which makes it possible to transfer up to 15,000 euros in less than ten seconds. As soon as they are listed in the EPC Register of Participants, PSPs will be included in this map, even if they start offering SCT Inst services to their customers a bit later. The EPC Register of Participants presents in detail the list of participating PSPs and their readiness date.”, according to the press release.
